About Us
“Wait, you’re not married yet?!”
After 12 years, 1 university degree, 1 international move, and 1 worldwide pandemic, we’re finally making things official and getting married. We’ve come along way from being 18 year old freshman, studying Industrial Design, pulling all-nighters, and braving Ottawa winters.
We’ve now lived in San Francisco going on 8 years, and love calling this city our second home. We spend our weekends waking up early (Dustin), making coffee (both), and going for long bike rides (Caroline). We love hosting friends for dinner, hiking along the ocean, watching Formula 1, and going out for the occasional late night of karaoke.
In Caroline’s words: Dustin is one of the most determined people I know. When Dustin dreamed big about moving to California, or starting his own design studio, I never doubted that he has the grit to follow through, that’s just who he is. Dustin cooks exceptionally well, is darkly funny (but never the loudest person in the room), only reads non-fiction, and is someone who genuinely loves their vacuum cleaner. Most of all, I love that Dustin always considers what he says before he speaks, and that he really shows up for the people he loves in his life.
In Dustin’s words: Caroline is one of the warmest, most effusive people you'll meet. Don't let her size fool you – she's in control, you just haven't realized it yet. When Caroline dedicates herself to something, she gives 110%; whether it's conquering grueling 100+ mile bike rides with 7,000 ft of elevation, or taking on her "hobby" of day-of-coordinating weddings. Caroline is always willing to push beyond expectations to achieve new heights. She's a great listener, devoted friend and confidante, a passionate analyst of all things reality TV, and most of all, a wonderful partner.
